32. Life

As a child and as a teenager, the idea of living a life that is much different is only a dream, and quite hard to see. God, I remember what it was like as a child. Children can remember last week, last year, and sometimes much more. Life always changes. Children do not know that yet. They do not know that what is happening now, will not happen necessarily later. Even if they are told, they may not understand it. They may believe what is said to them right now. Come with me and feed the puppy. Life is full of surprises we are not prepared to handle, God. Keep me safe, and help me figure out life enough to make wiser choices than I did when I made some of the mistakes I made.
