Our Statement of Faith

What we believe. We believe the Scriptures of both the Old and New Testament are the inspired Word of God. We believe God exists eternally in three persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, that He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, crucified, died, was buried and rose again on the third day. We believe that Jesus Christ is both truly God and truly man. We believe that man was created in the image of God, but is born with a sinful nature. We believe that Jesus Christ died for our sins and that He is God's only provision for mankind's sin; and that all who receive Him by faith have eternal life because of His shed blood. We believe in the personal, visible Second Coming of Jesus Christ. We believe that all who call on the Lord Jesus Christ by faith are born of the Holy Spirit and are born of the Spirit and become children of God. We believe that a Christian should strive to live to please God and that consistent prayer and Bible study are vital to their spiritual growth. We believe in the Great Commission which our Lord has given to His church to evangelize the world, and that it is my Christian duty to witness by word and deed to these truths.
