Wow, I can't believe I haven't updated in so long. Little Timothy is doing great. His mother called a week ago today and said that she is ready to sign the adoption papers. So, with God's help, Scott & Cathy Anderson will have a baby by December 24 - Timothy's six month birthday! Hallelujah! Praise the Lamb!

The Body of Christ is incredible! Thanks to all of you who are praying for Timothy. It means so much to me. Here is an email an efriend from Georgia sent to me! To God be the Glory!
Dear Sharon--
It is a sad thing when parental rights have to be terminated, and especially so when it touches our own individual lives, as this is for you.  But I also know that the best interests of the child have to be considered.  I am praying for not only Timothy and his mother, but also for the young couple that wants to adopt him that if the adoption goes through that they will lean on the wisdom and guidance of the Lord to raise Him in the Word and teach him to be a strong man of God when he reaches adulthood.
Love in Christ---
Kay

Yes, this is little Timothy. Isn't he just adorable? He was about 6 weeks old when this was taken. He is about 14 weeks now. Pray for him. He has horrible congestion. I believe it is asthma. Many, many people in our family have asthma.

Tewt is with a precious lady - Caron Eiman - from my church while I am in Pensacola. Please pray that DHR will be open to the love this woman has for this precious baby.
We met with Robin last Monday and if I ever doubted her being bipolar, those doubts are now truths. She is in denial about all aspects of her life. Please pray that God will get through to her, heal her, and do what is best in the life of both Robin and this precious baby.

I spoke with the case worker yesterday and Robin has failed two drug tests. We have a meeting scheduled with the case worker and Robin Monday morning. DHR will be looking for a more permanent resolution for Tewt.
A woman from my church, Karon, wants to be his foster parent and maybe even one day adopt him. Keep her in your prayers. She will be keeping Tewt while we are out of town Thursday - Friday this week. Roger has a business meeting in Pensacola, FL, so I am going too. Hallelujah!

Robin tested positive for cocaine yesterday. She says she hasn't used, that it was because of the Lora Tabs she took for cramps. DHR will have to decide the outcome. She got a subpoena from Family Court today for September 1. I have gotten nothing, nor have I heard anything. Pray that the Lord will show us when and how or if Tewt is to be placed in Foster care.

Well folks, this baby is something else. I know you are praying for him because he is growing and doing so well.
We had a doctor's visit Tuesday and he weighed in at 7 lbs. 10 ozs. His smiles convey the loving warmth that comes from the love of God being poured into his life.
Mom and Dad came and spent the night with us Friday. Please keep them in your prayers. They are going through many difficult changes right now. This time with him alerted them to the fact that there home is not quite ready for a baby.
Also, Robin is to be assessed for her drug addiction Wednesday. Keep this as a matter of prayer. The case worker is also working on a court date. Please pray that God's perfect will be done in this little baby's life, as well as in the life of his parents.

Well, today Tewt is one month old. He is doing extremely well. I remain amazed at the Body of Christ and how they have rallied around this precious baby! He is growing beautifully, smiles a lot, and has rolled over already from his tummy to his back. We certainly appreciate your prayers. Keep in mind that the 30 days will be up next week and so far his mom is not in a treatment program. Pray that God will give us discernment in what the next step is for this precious baby!

I carried Tewt to the doctor yesterday. He weighed in at 6.5. He has gained a pound. He is absolutely precious. He doesn't fuss. He is already smiling and cooing and he is only two weeks old. He has even noticed his fist! Your prayers are being answered in tremendous ways.
Continue to remember his mother Robin. She has many obstacles to overcome before she will get custody of Tewt. Pray that God will do a supernatural work in her life and bring her to a full relationship with Himself!

Twet is awesome! He is a precious baby. The gifts that have come in from as far as Alaska and North Carolina have amazed me. One dear friend, Janet Mitchell, is keeping us supplied with formula and has given us so many gifts it is amazing. Another person who has helped much is Linda Jones who provided a car seat and baby bed.
Mom and Dad visited Sunday and Tuesday and it is precious to watch them together. Please pray that Mom will stay straight and God will direct her to a good treatment center.

Twet is doing fairly well. He is sleeping about an hour an a half at the time. He spits up A LOT! The outpouring of love from all over this country is awesome! The church is really large, but small. Bless His Holy Name!

Just heard from DHR and I'm on my way to pick up Tewt (toot) Timothy Edward Wayne Thomas They did not have a car seat to send him home in, but I have an old dirty one in the basement that I will use to bring him home. Linda Jones (JLJ1683) has a baby bed and she also knows where I can get two more carseats. That way Roger & I both will have one. Janet Mitchell(Fivemitchells)'s husband runs Mission Possible and she is looking for a few things for us. I found about 3 outfits in the basement that may be a little big on him, but I think they will work for now. I have two receiving blankets. A friend gave me some money to buy me some shoes Friday night, but I am going to stop by Wal-Mart and get him a few things with that. Bonnie Palmer (bymalaska@yahoo.com) from Alaska is getting him a few outfits. That will be neat, having clothes bought in Alaska. I will find some type of baby book to keep a record of all of this in for him. I will keep you posted on how things go. You'll never know how much I appreciate this.
