Divorce is not a Dirty Word

Week Four Day Seven

He tends his flock like a shepherd; He gathers the lambs in his arms and carries them close to his heart; he gently leads those that have young. . .Do you not know? Have you not heard? Has it not been told you from the beginning? Have you not understood since the earth was founded? He sits enthroned above the circle of the earth, and its people are like grasshoppers. He stretches out the heavens like a canopy, and spreads them out like a tent to live it. Isaiah 11, 21-22

God is in control. At least He is in control of those who will allow Him to be in control. Verse 11 describes perfectly a picture of Jesus holding a little lamb in His arms. Remember, Jesus referred to those who follow Him as sheep. Well, baby sheep are lambs and that is how He treats us when we are sick, hurting, or tired He holds us close to His heart.

When I think of God holding me close to His heart I feel a deep sense of peace washing over me. I know how I feel when I hold my grandchild close to my heart, and that makes me better understand God's holding me. He holds me, and you, with complete love and acceptance when we allow Him to hold us.

I want so badly for you to know and understand that God knows and understands you. He loves you and wants your future to be better than anything you have experienced before now. I hope you are learning that you can trust Him with all things.
