10. Same sexed partners
God, so many people who are molested as minors end up being same sexed partners as adults. Is it a continuation of the molestation? Is it comfortable with what is familiar? Is it a turning away from molestation? Society does not always look kindly on it, and the Bible is full of harshness for it. Suicide is higher with it. So why do it? God, it is easy to do what feels right, but when I have been molested, how do I know what is right? When someone steals from me what is special, how can I get the feeling that this is not the best that is yet to be? God, if being "straight" means making someone of the opposite sex unhappy for a lifetime because I lie about how I have been trained to see the world, and do nothing to change, bring light. Help me to see what is good and what is bad, what is healthy and what is unhealthy. If nothing else, do not allow me to hurt anyone with what I have been trained to believe is normal.
