22. Ministers

God, if a male minister hurt me, or a male parent/relative hurt me, how do I listen to a male minister without remembering or fearing? If a woman minister or woman parent/relative hurt me, how do I listen to a women minister without remembering or fearing? God, let me be free to make choices that are rather easy. If a woman hurt me, let me try listening to men. If a man hurt me, let me try listening to women. God, I want to hear about the Bible, and I want to be able to go to places with church people. But I don't want to be in a setting that is as painful as the time when I was molested. I want things to be made new, and made better. God, there is no perfect church, but if there is any way I can be more in tune with people in church, and more comfortable, I am open to trying.
