26. Hope

Hope is not for all causes, but it is for lost causes. Bringing our cause before You God means that we already have the spiritual gift of hope, otherwise we would not even try. We bring our cause, whatever it is, to You because of Your gift of hope. It may not make sense, but then, neither does hope. Fatalism does not allow hope. Fatalism will not bring a lost cause to Your attention. God, I hope.
