69. Animals

Therapeutic animals can be therapeutic for two reasons. They protect, and they give affection. Shandra Levy would be alive if she had been in the park with a huge dog. No one is safe in a secluded area, be it parking lot, park, or city street. A little cat can be therapeutic, but there is very little in the way of protection from a cat! Birds or fish can be therapeutic, as can snakes, reptiles of all varieties, rodents, and the whole wild kingdom. But nothing says, "Don't tread on me" better than a dog. God, please bring therapy to people, and thank you for animals that bond.
