7. Generosity

Oh my God, being generous is not an easy thing. So much has been taken from me, so where do I get this generosity? Either I give too much or I give nothing, and my generosity needs fine-tuning. When people are generous to me, it is so uncomfortable because generosity has been used so badly in my life. I was generously given things I did not need so that I would buy into being used. A little at a time, I lost my spirit of giving without expecting anything in return. I lost my spirit of receiving without feeling a debt. And God, when I am given an opportunity to give and receive, let the strings be gone. Take them from me.
