77. Organizations

There are organizations for sex addicts, but few per se for the survivors of sex addicts. I cannot go and find a place in every city where I might travel and find a group of people who can relate to what I went through to become a survivor. And yet, every Twelve Step Program has some truth about what it is like to experience abuse. Every group of SNAP knows so much wisdom in survival, and can be supportive, in many states. There are more places on the internet for people who know what it is like to survive abuse, and they are there to share help. By helping, many times there is healing on both sides, and new learned behavior. God, thank you for new avenues to find support.
