Molested: Prayers by D. White
Cup Half Full: Molested as a Minor
87. Clinging
How do any of us know balance in friendships?
How do we know when to say that we are being stifled, or pick up the cues
that we are stifling? Where does the courage come to say we want to be
close, but we need honesty from others? There does not need to be
brutality, or excessive energy to tell us that we are overstepping how
close people want to be. There does not need to be excessive meanness to
be honest. God, when I am feeling my way around people, help me ask what I
need without stepping on toes, and to listen carefully, so people don't
have to be ugly to be honest. Everything from body language to their tone
of voice will tell me if they are being honest. Not everyone is
comfortable with closeness.
Hope You were encouraged. Please come back anytime.
