And now, dear brothers and sisters, I will write about the special abilities
the Holy Spirit gives to each of us, for I must correct your misunderstandings
about them. You know that when you were still pagans you were led astray and
swept along in worshiping speechless idols. So I want you to know how to discern
what is truly from God: No one speaking by the Spirit of God can curse Jesus,
and no one is able to say, "Jesus is Lord," except by the Holy Spirit.

Corinthians 12:1-3
Again, let me make an emphatic statement ¾ God didn't save your soul just so you could go to Heaven. He has a plan for your life. He wants to use you in the life of another person. When you were saved He placed a gift inside of you. However, there is a secret to unlocking it.
How many of you leave keys lying around in an open place for just anyone to find? I don't see any show of hands. So, apparently keys are generally hidden or placed in a safe place ¾ right? Yes, I see those hands. Thank you very much!
Yes, God's key is hidden in His heart. You must get close to Him before He will unlock the gift. Now who among us, knowing that there is a gift waiting for them would refuse to receive it? Well, believe it or not there are many people who are doing exactly that!
When God first began planting the vision for this ministry inside of me He gave me a picture of people sitting in the congregation without keys. They had no idea what their spiritual gifts were and therefore were unable to experience the deep joy of their salvation. You see, salvation isn't totally complete until we are using the full gift. Yes, you would get to Heaven, but you wouldn't have joy in the journey!
People ask me all the time how I walk in such joy so consistently. Well, it's because I get to operate in my gifts so often. My days of misery are all but over because God keeps opening doors for me to use more and more of what He is pouring inside of me. He just keeps unlocking and I keep opening!
The other night my Pastor said that for many years the church has held to the truth that God never changes. Unfortunately, they don't know the truth that He just hasn't revealed all of Himself to us yet. So, too many people don't know the joy of the winds of change He is releasing in the lives of people who want more and more of Him.
He gives us abilities all He asks is that we give Him our availability. It is my hope that as a result of your receiving these devotionals that you are getting more and more thirsty for God and the benefits of an intimate relationship with Him! He thirsts for you.
Father, let Your wind blow on me. I want all of You that You know I am able to receive. I am not afraid of You or of the way You move. Move me Lord. Let the wind blow! May the special abilities You anointed me with shine Your light on someone today who needs to know that You love them.
