HE IS RISEN — INDEED!

It was early on Sunday morning when Jesus rose from the dead, and the first person who saw him was Mary Magdalene, the woman from whom he had cast out seven demons. She went and found the disciples, who were grieving and weeping. But when she told them that Jesus was alive and she had seen him, they didn't believe her.
Mark 16:9-11

He is alive! Out of the darkness came His marvelous light. He truly is the light of the world. I know today is a busy day, so I will keep it short.

What an awesome gift Jesus gave to Mary that first Easter morning. The one whom Simon had mumbled under his breath about, saying that if Jesus really were a prophet He would know what kind of woman was kissing His feet and stop her, has proven He is the Son of God! How precious that Jesus led Mary to be the first one to know of His resurrection by appearing to her personally.

Yet, this gift was bittersweet. No one believed her. How many times have you known God was telling you to do something, but were ignored or laughed at? Although His followers were rejected and laughed at, they were the ones He chose to spread the news of His resurrection. Incredible things happen when we turn to Jesus for our every need, obey His every call, and seek His face even in times of trouble.

Let's agree to pray together for Christ to be exalted today and every day, and that lives will be saved for eternal purpose in His Kingdom!

Rejoice! He is risen! Yes, He is risen indeed!

Hope you were encouraged.
