refuses to satisfy the craving of the wicked.
Proverbs 10:3
When God's children are trusting in Him ¾ wholeheartedly ¾ He will not allow them to go hungry! I know this to be true. No matter where we are or what we are doing He will provide. However, I truly believe that if we step outside of His loving care He will allow natural consequences to happen in our lives.
At times God remains a paradox to me. Yes, like you, I see the ungodly prosper in this world. People like Osama ben Laden have more money than I can even imagine ¾ yet he kills people ¾ Christian people. Where is God in this? Believe me ¾ God has not prospered ben Laden. We must recognize that Satan rewards his folks too. Could God stop him? Absolutely. However, God must have a larger plan that we can see. So, we must keep our eyes on Him and not allow them to stray!
So, no matter what's going on in your life, if you are genuinely seeking God and walking in His ways ¾ you will not go hungry!
Father, I know there are people reading this who have recently lost jobs. They are on the brink of fear for their food and shelter. I pray that You will lead them into complete trust in You and that You will be their Provider!
