Hope ConnectionTo all who
mourn in Israel, he will give beauty for ashes,
joy instead of mourning, praise instead of despair. For the Lord has planted them like strong and graceful oaks for his own glory. Isaiah 61:3 "Who then can so softly bind up the wound of another |

The Hope Connection was born from my own frustration as a Christian going through crisis situations - without support. Therefore, God moved me to begin this website, especially this section, as a means of support. No matter what you are dealing with, when you go through tough times you usually feel overwhelmed with life. God wants you to know that you are not alone! Each and every one of us will go through a crisis, a time when just making it through the day feels like it is too much to bear. At times like this, a little encouragement can go a long way towards helping us arrive at hope without falling completely apart. In most of the areas listed above we have testimonies of people who have actually walked through the issues. When we don't, we do our best to provide information that will help you cope with whatever problem you or a loved one may be experiencing. We are constantly updating our information as well as adding other information to make this website reader friendly. If you have a story of how God helped you turn a woe into a wow, please share it with us. We just might use it and it could quite possibly be an encouragement for someone else. In His marvelous devotional book, "My Utmost for His Hightes," Oswald Chambers states: "...it is adversity that makes us exhibit His life in our mortal flesh...The only thing that will enable me to enjoy adversity is the acute sense of eagerness of allowing the life of the Son of God to evidence itself in me. No matter how difficult something may be, I must say, 'Lord, I am delighted to obey You in this.' Instantly, the Son of God will move to the forefront of my life, and will manifest in my body that which glorifies Him." As His children, we want to glorify Him. However, when we are in the midst of a storm glofiying anyone is not first on our priority list. We at Woes to Wows Ministries want to encourage you to let God turn your woes (adversities) to wows by allowing Him to do His work in your life. We hope that through this website and the stories of others who have allowed Him to do this work in us - you too will receive the strength necessary to survive your storm. The links above will take you to some thoughts or testimonies on a particular topic in which someone has "been there - done that." Maybe you have "been there - done that" through something not listed here. If so, send me your story and I just might add it! |

For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, I began to realize that my fears and anxieties were self-imposed. God’s choice for me was to have power, love and self-discipline. God did not give me a spirit of fear! My poor self-image, my anxieties, my fears were all my own doing and my sin because I lacked faith to receive the power, love and self-discipline that God really wanted me to have. Beverly LaHaye |
